Join us in welcoming Patrick Etchie, AICP of The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. as he discusses the basics of writing and researching grants for projects. The primary focus will be on public funding but will also touch briefly on private sources for grants. Discussion items will include the five basic questions to answer in your grant application; sources of information for your grants; trends in public funding; issues with public funding; questions to ask yourself about grant opportunities; proposal writing tips; and some links to various funding sources.  Read more ...

ENGINEER FOR A DAY PROGRAM - 2/17
          The Engineer for a Day Program itself take place on the University of Toledo College of Engineering's campus.  Students check in for a brief program in Nitschke Auditorium, then move in small groups for tours of the Labs.  They all convene again at Nitschke Hall for a casual pizza lunch before departing with their sponsoring companies to shadow for the rest of the day.
